Data Protection Officer
Due to the size of our company, we do not require a data protection officer in accordance with Section 38 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), as we do not “generally employ at least ten people on a permanent basis to carry out the automated processing of personal data”.

Information about the collection of personal data

Security through technical standards and secure transmission
We have taken technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. All our employees and all third parties involved in data processing are obligated to comply with the GDPR and the new Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and to treat personal data confidentially. Our measures are continually adapted to reflect changes and the state of the art. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that data protection for data transmission within the internet cannot be fully guaranteed given the current state of technology. Other internet users may, under certain circumstances, be technically capable of interfering with network security and monitoring message traffic without authorization.

Deletion of data

The statutory retention periods are six years according to Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) for commercial books, inventories, commercial letters, opening balance sheets, etc., and ten years according to Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) for books, records, receipts, and other tax-relevant documents.
